Interdisciplinary symposium on psychedelic science

Brain scientists, psychiatrists, psychologists, STS scholars, sociologists, anthropologists, biologists and members of many other disciplines all came together to discuss interdisciplinary science at a symposium held in collaboration by the Graduate Program in Science, Technology and Society and the Gonda Multidisciplinary Brain Research Center.

The symposium followed up on an interdisciplinary university course on psychedelics held over the last semester conjointly by Dr. Ido Hartogsohn from the STS program, and Prof. Roy Salomon, from the Gonda Center. Scientists of diverse disciplines sat together to consider psychedelics in a wildly interdisciplinary context, and develop new research projects that add new and richer perspectives on issues in psychedelic research.
