Michael Shurman

After spending more than 40 years in high-tech industry I decided to return to my first love – history and social science. My main interests include the intellectual history of cybernetics, cyberocracy projects and techno-utopianism (and utopianism in general), the historical, economic and social aspects of intellectual property.

I hold the bachelor degree in computer science, statistics and sociology from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and master degree in Philosophy from Tel Aviv University.
